  • Well, now, if anywhen, is a time for fresh starts.  I have some ideas on things I want to do that I have procrastinated on or perhaps couldn't afford to do.  One of the biggest things I want to do is get back into traveling.  I intend to go back to Ireland next year.  That is the goal.  I haven't been since 1993 and it hurts.  So next year is what I am shooting for and 2010 is the latest.  I want to get back into drawing.  I am looking at an art tablet that I can hook up to the computer.  It will be the best option since I don't have much room in an apartment to make a studio.  I need to get back into the gym.  I haven't done a whole lot of working out in awhile.  I'm not in the kind of shape I want to be and only have myself to blame.  I've been reflecting on some things and almost feel like I've wasted my life up to this point.  Time to start doing and less thinking about doing.

On other fresh start news, I did ask someone out on a date.  Didn't work out.  But it's all part of getting back on that horse, I guess.  I am a little disappointed though.  She would be a good catch.

  • I agree completely. I'm gonna get myself up and start doing the same...

Although, I'm still not confident about the dating part...even if it's just asking someone out for a casual date...guess I'm still not really confident with myself to do that....wish I was though.

  • Yes... Yes... drawing... that you must do.... I have a model now for the cover too for you to draw...

  • Never consider any experience wasted time, it's all a learning process leading you to the next place you're supposed to be. I also try to take every opportunity that comes my way, even though it's scary sometimes.

  • Take a little advice from an old lady: Don't try to catch anyone yet.  Take yer time. Trust mama.
