BRIEF STUFF
Basically, I worked late last night at Crockett St (the clubbing area of town). I came home to find the air conditioning was broken. So should be a fun day at work. Less time to sleep and less sleep during that time.
Sorry it's been awhile since my last post. I was gone for a week and my mother didn't have internet set up. The few times I did gain access to the web I was checking email and the like. I've been quite busy otherwise. Florida was okay. It was only sunny one day while I was there. The rest of the time it was either severely raining or very overcast. I did make it for a short beach jaunt the sunny day. I took minimal photos. First were with my cell phone, but I bought a new digital camera while I was there. But, still, I am bad about taking photos.
The trip:
The Challenger handled like a champ. It was the most comfortable cross-country drive I've been on. And having Sirius and GPS navigation was really cool. I was able to keep it in cruise control the majority of the was and got about 25 MPG, which is damn good for a V8 muscle car.
At the Florida Welcome Center on IH-10. I thought I needed to get out and stretch my legs since I was on the final stretch. Lots of bug guts on the windshield and the front hood and bumper.
The beach was red-flagged due to riptides. But it was pleasant just to walk along it and get the feet wet. It was a beautiful day. Like I said, one of the few beautiful days I had there.
